After the 2nd Graders learned about Color we studied Kandinsky's painting. The students each received one small canvas (GO TO
BLICK ARTS - until February having a HUGE canvas sale, if you buy enough you get 70% off) They had to choose a color scheme (Primary, Secondary, Hot, & Cold). The students were so excited to each a have a canvas, a fancy paint brush, and acrylic paint! All together they look great!
I love the idea of doing these on REAL canvases. I know Dick Blick's is having their sale until the end of February. I am now thinking about how much I am willing to spend to get some small canvases like yours! Thanks for the inspiration.
