5th Graders made stepping stones for their Mother's Day projects. We started with quickdry concrete and added stones to make a designed. The simpler the design - the better the outcome. The students were very excited about this project and it connected to the 5th grade science standards! (HINT... mix concrete in small amounts, no rush - it takes about 1/2 an hour before it starts to settle)Saturday, May 8, 2010

I loved my stepping stone! Thanks for being so thoughtful and having the kids make them for us Moms. It really meant a lot to open that on Mother's Day!
