They look real!! The 4th graders had a mini-crash course on clay. They learned how to WEDGE the clay, roll out a SLAB, what a KILN is, and what a BISC FIRE consists of. After the mini-lesson, I told them they had one minute to run outside and pick a leaf. They looked at me and sat there. So I looked back at them and I said GO... they stood up and ran out the door. Right now the leaves are drying out can't wait to fire them and glaze them.
