In honor of Martin Luther King

In honor of Martin Luther King, the 2nd grade students each made a crayon after reading the Crayon box the That Talked. We discussed how everyone is different and may look different but we all need each other. Then the students made self-portraits and we discussed how to make the their self-portrait's skin color look like theirs. The students really enjoyed making their artwork look realistic!
