AlexI wanted the students to create a piece of artwork that made noise, rhythm, or a sound. This was their challenge. I took a step back, opened up the supply cart (really hard for me to let them have full reign) and let them run with ideas.
This is what they created, using a variety of tool and materials!

I like these a lot! Did the kids use photos of instruments as reference for their drawings? Last year we borrowed instruments from the music teacher and it was fun watching the kids drawing them. The saxaphone was without a doubt the hardest to draw from life.
