Our school is making an effort to use I Can statements with the students in order to enhance comprehension skills and focus on standard based learning. I found I Can statements on the Dublin City Schools website (Columbus, Oh) and printed them off. After lots of thought I made this chart so I can easily pull forward the statement we are working on. Grade levels are on the right and the categories on top are the five main standards for Art. I have them all in a file ready to print off - if interested just email me at bethanyforgione@yahoo.com. So far I love it! It also helps answer the question... what are we going to do today? :)
