Thanks to Mrs. Hanneken, we now have a magical wind chime in our room. (Her wonderful idea taken from the Daily Five material) If you make it ring... the class gets quiet! The students love it and I don't have to be the one to get everyone quiet. It allows students to help and lead.
The Goldfish bowl. 
If I catch them doing something good... I will ask them if they want to go fishing and they can go over and pick out a fish. Whatever it says on the back they get! This works really well to highlight students that are doing a great job!
By the door are three passes for the students. So far this is working out great!
Just have to know...What is on the back of the fish??? I'm so curious! :)
