The second graders read the book entitled There was an Old Monster, they used the illustrations as inspiration to make their own "old monster". While they worked we listened to the book... link to song

I discovered this book at our book fair this year and LOVED IT!! I had the Kinders and 1st graders look and listen to the book and we just drew our monsters. I was thinking of a way to use the concentric circles in the eyes. Love what you did with it!!
