A Student dressed up during the Halloween parade - fits the lesson perfectly!
Jack K.
Terry M.

4th Graders have been learning about all the "isms" of art, ending with Expressionism. It was perfect timing because the painting is a little scary... We discussed how the Scream was painted by Edward Munch and how he wanted to portray his feelings about the world. Then the students created their own "Scream" on heavy aluminium. They covered them with black India Ink and then wiped off the top layer. This left the black in the cracks. To finish them up they added just a touch of color with marker... Very Spooky !
