Fifth graders have been learning about longitude, latitude, and the states. So we decided to make paper-mache globes. The student hated/loved this project. The mess of the paper-mache and the gross texture was difficult but in the end they seemed very happy with their project and were impressed with their ability to actually make a 3-D globe.
