First Grade Rubber Ducks

After reading the book 10 Little Rubber Ducks, the students created a rubber duck family! First, we painted wavy lines using different shades of blue. Then the students were encouraged to add something creative to their ducks. When the students finished, they made pictures of what would happen to "their" duck if it fell overboard like the ducks in the book. Some very creative ideas were generated :)
