Fifith graders have been discovering how to make an object look as though it is going backwards in a picture (perspective). While discussing the Element of Art - Space, students made a picture of outer space. For this project the students learned how to shade an object in order to make it look three dimensional, incorporated the idea of perspective by making planets all different sizes, and practised coloring neatly. They worked really hard on these and it shows!!
