Turning Trash into Treasure

Well my sister needed a jewelery rack that could hold a lot of earrings. Thanks to my friend - Hallie S. - I built this for her. I started with an old picture frame and then stapled screen behind it. I then bought some door knobs from Home Depot and screwed them right to the bottom. Now she can hang her necklaces from the knobs and hang her earrings in the screen (plus it's a decorative piece to hang on the wall!) It's amazing what you can make out of an old picture frame :) I think I will try this with my students later on in the year.
